Thumb extension and adduction
M. extensor pollicis (N. interosseus posterior)
M. adductor pollicis (N. ulnaris)

Wrist ulnar deviation
M. flexor carpi ulnaris (N. ulnaris)
M. extensor carpi ulnaris (N. radialis)

The examiner stabilizes the forearm and tests isometric ulnar deviation of the wrist.

C8, extended sensory examination

C8 dermatome

Little finger and ulnar hand (via N. ulnaris)
